ERIC LOVE
Theatre Director
About Me
I moved to New York City after receiving a BFA in musical theatre from The Hartt School. Since my arrival in NYC, I have had the great fortune of working non-stop in many genres of theatre. These include musicals, Shakespeare, ballet, burlesque, voice overs, experimental theatre, comedy, drama, drag roles and acrobatics.
I was born in Durham, North Carolina into a family of professional musicians. Playing an instrument was mandatory. So, at four years old, I chose the cello. When I decided my senior year of high school to go to a conservatory for theatre instead of cello, I never guessed that my musical skills would keep me in such high demand. I have performed as an actor/cellist in eight shows since graduating from college.
I am based in NYC, but I love to travel. So far, I have performed in Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, North Carolina, Colorado, Italy and Austria. My motto is “follow the work,” and it has kept me very busy.
